Misanthropy is my new religion
First off, some definitions are needed for this rant
(All definitions are taken from Merriam Websters Internet Dictionary)
Misanthropy: a hatred or distrust for humankind
Religion: a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith
You might be asking yourself "Why do hate humankind, man? That's uncool!" Yeah, and so what? Humankind is uncool too. Take in to consideration that I am as
well a part of humankind, so I am not excluding myself.
Why do I have a lack of faith as humans as a race? First off, we're on this planet, and it seems we're dedicated to destroying it as efficiently as we can. Pollution, war,
terrorism, multinational media conglomerates polluting and tainting the collective conscious AND unconscious, boybands, politicians, etc etc. I could go on for days
and nights, but what mentioned here is of course the most important parts in the tedious destruction of the planet and humans as a race.
Look at politicians: during their election campaigns they have promises for the people of a utopic society, but once they take their seat as a country's leader, many
politicians become corrupted, greedy, thieves and murderes. And politicians are some of the most media-represented humans. And the people, in general, follow as
mindless slaves. Is it any wonder I don't trust us?
Don't get me wrong though: Humans as a race suck, but I know several individuals that are awesome people. There is a difference between the two. Many of my
friends are great individuals with humor, intelligence, cunning, wits, and all those other positive adjectives. But still....We are all a part of the human race.
So, do I have a solution for this ubiquitous problem (that would be us) ? Yes. Mass genocide. The only solution that will truly have a positive effect on the planet. If
we all get extinct, there will be no more wars, meat-eating animals will have plenty of food from all the human carcasses laying around and decomposing in the streets,
the climate will stabilize as we can't pollute with our damn sportscars and SUV's anymore.
BUT - we all know this is impossible as humans are way too greedy, afraid and selfish for everybody to kill as many as they can, and then themselves. It seems there
is no way out of this hellhole called humanity. I guess I'm screwed.
