There is noone, nothing and no group of people I hate more intensely than religious fanatics.
Me, my dad and his girlfriend were discussing this at dinner earlier today; religious fanatics coming around and forcing their beliefs on others with no regard or consideration for the possibility that other people might have different views than themselves and that these people manage fine without some sanctimonious religious zealot trying his very best to make you aware of what his or hers religion can do for you.
Allright, cool, you're a member of Jehovas Witnesses? Does it say in your scripture that you have to be an intrusive and bothersome moron, walking around spreading "the word" to people who conspicuosly aren't interested in
what you have to say, with the firm belief that if you bother people enough, they'll finally cave in to your manipulative bullshit just to shut you up? If I choose to believe that man created god, instead of the other way around, because that makes SOME sense to me as opposed to the theory of divine creation, who fucking cares?
When did it become necessary for believers to do their best to convince others that don't share their beliefs that they themselves are right and their god is the one true god? When did it become any of your business to stick your nose in what I choose to believe, or not to believe for that matter? When did anything regarding other people become anyones business, actually?
The title of this article is hundred percent correct; there is no type of human being that I carry more intense hatred for. I despise them with every tired string of DNA in my body, every part of my soul, mind and being. It's almost impossible for me to emphasize this enough; I hate these kind of people more than anybody or anything else. Hitler? Europe recovered by and by. Some things change, but one thing you can always take for granted is that religious fanatics will never seize to constantly remind other people that they're right. As a matter of fact, the notion that One True God exists, is horseshit, by the fact that several religions claim that their god is the One True God. This logic eats itself and renders the whole notion to a stinking pool of hypocritical vomit.
After the horrific tradegy that was the tsunami that happened in Thailand and in surrounding countries in 2004, I read news reports saying that privately funded religious help-groups from the USA travelled to the disaster-area and offering help ONLY and exclusively to people who converted to christianity first. Otherwise they didn't deserve their help, obviously. They literally made small children and poor families in a already desperate situation choose between converting to the religion that has caused the most carnage here on earth or being left without help. And only because they saw their shot at rallying more people to their clan - and for what? What does it matter if your religion has few or millions of followers, as long as it is right for you? Is it because you are WEAK? To me, that is EVIL, just about as evil as it gets. These poor people didn't even get to have their own beliefs left in peace because some fanatic couldn't grasp the fact that they needed and deserved help even though they weren't christians.
When I was at work a couple of weeks ago, a sick-looking frail man with a bald spot came up to me and asked some irrelevant question before not paying attention to my answer just so that he had an excuse to pass off a
pamphlet. Then he smirked like a pedophile would, and proceeded to walk away. I stood there wondering what the hell just happened. I opened up the pamphlet and I had trouble with refraining from vomiting all over the place.
The little scrap of paper he handed me had a painting printed on it which depicted som "idyllic" landscape, with two morons in the middle of a field, in front of a log cabin, carving a pumpkin, smiling and laughing as it was the coolest thing they'd ever witnessed, topped off with moose and bears and some other animals walking around them, all in harmony. On the inside of the pamphlet it said "Do you ever ask yourself why this world has so much cruelty and suffering in it?". Well, NO, as I knew the answer to this question years ago - religious fanatics run this world, using
their religion as the reason they do all the evil they do, and get away with it.
Anyhow, it proceeded to answer this rethorical question with something that went like this - "Well, not to fear. God has a plan and he is about to executeit real soon, and it will end all suffering, starvation, pain and evil in this
world. Just have patience."
I can't quite remember the exact words, but that does not matter, as it said something to the exact same effect - God is about to end all suffering and pain in the world, he is just taking his time, basically.
What kind of asshole-god is this? If a god existed, why would he take his time getting rid of all the pain and suffering in this world? Is he busy washing his hair? Didn't he set his alarm clock? What happened? Why is your god taking his time to do the right thing?!! If your god is a good one, then he surely is a delayed one. This just doesn't make sense, and it pisses me off that the retards who buy into this crap, don't realize it. They take it as facts, and never stop to think that it might be just hypocrisy from start to finish, quit and go do something else.
Of course, the frail, little man who shovelled this propaganda to me, was a Jehovas Witness. He looked as if he was thinking "Yes, good, this young man will also see the light of God just because I handed him a pamphlet with a rethorical question and an ambiguous answer promising nothing but false hope and lies."
So after finishing reading this pamphlet I tear it to pieces, spit on it and throw it away, just to make sure my coworkers understand I don't like having other peoples beliefs imposed on me.
I am going to write this last part just to be hypocritical myself: Even though I don't have a religion, I hope there is a hell with eternal suffering and pain, TRUE pain, instead of the self-inflicted pain here on earth, where all religious zealots end up, being tortured until the end of time with no chance of escape or remorse whatsoever. I hope you all, and everybody like you, end up there, paying for your years on earth wasted on imposing your set of beliefs on others, instead of doing something that is actually GOOD.
